FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We strive to ensure the reptile you receive closely matches the image. However, due to the natural variation in patterns and colors of exotic reptiles, slight differences are possible. All reptiles are unique, and these variations are a part of their charm. Rest assured, the species, size, and health will match the description. If you have specific requests or concerns, feel free to contact us!
The preferred sex/gender of each reptile, amphibian, and invertebrate (if selected) is not guaranteed, most notably with hatchling and juvenile animals. We make our best efforts using decades of knowledge and experience, but we are not always 100% accurate. Snakes are generally very easy to determine sex/gender, but we still group them in with the overall disclaimer.
We cannot put animals on hold or layaway. The pictures on this website are simply representative of each species. This means the specific reptile, amphibian, or invertebrate you receive may or may not look identical or similar to the photographic depiction. Our available stock moves too quickly to provide us with an opportunity to constantly update online photos.
All roach, ant, earthworm, giant mealworm, mealworm, and waxworm orders are sent via AusPost priority 2-3 day delivery; generally with tracking only provided upon request. Feeder orders placed after 12pm PST on Wednesday will be shipped the following Monday (to ensure the insects do not sit in a facility over the weekend). If you order feeder insects on a live reptile, amphibian, tarantula, or scorpion order, please remember that your feeders will arrive separately.
We will e-mail you a tracking number (with the exception of crickets) once it becomes available to us on the evening your order is shipped (usually by 8pm EST). Please reference the shipping schedule above to note when to expect it (the "Ships on" day). Orders placed on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday will be shipped the following day. If your order was placed on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, it will be shipped the following Monday.

While we are licensed by Australian Fish and Wildlife to import and export internationally, we primarily ship to the US only, but we can ship larger orders internationally if you have the proper CITES licensing and permits. Exporting is most easily done with non-CITES animals.

Miner-All by Sticky Tongue Farms has yielded the best results of all the reptile and amphibian calcium supplements we've tried over the years. It's the only human grade calcium powder for reptiles, there's nothing better. Whatever you do, don't buy oyster shell-based calcium supplements—Rep Cal, for example—oyster shell has been shown to contain mercury, lead, arsenic, and other toxic heavy metals by scientific studies.
Their Vit-All insect and rodent gut load is excellent as well, used by many of the top breeders in the nation.

Babies are usually impossible to sex accurately (with the exception of snakes). Determining the gender of juvenile animals is at times difficult, but not impossible. Adult animals are much easier to delineate, but still not 100% (again, with the exception of snakes). We have experts making the call, but we still cannot absolutely guarantee the results.
